Direct answer

What is a document-to-podcast generator?

A document-to-podcast generator converts written source material into a conversational audio program. Zemith reads one to three supported documents, drafts a source-grounded discussion between two AI speakers, synthesizes it as WAV audio, and pairs it with a transcript you can follow while listening.

Use optional instructions to emphasize a topic, audience, or desired takeaway. Because this is an experimental AI audio tool, verify important facts, names, and pronunciations against the original sources before publishing or relying on the result.

Supported sources

Documents you can turn into a podcast

Combine up to three supported files in one generation. Each file can be up to 20 MB.

InputBest for
PDFResearch papers, reports, ebooks, lecture handouts, and exported web articles with readable text.
TXTPlain notes, transcripts, drafts, meeting notes, and clean text without layout.
CSVStructured lists or compact datasets that contain enough labels and context to explain conversationally.
MarkdownStructured notes, documentation, knowledge-base exports, and writing with headings or lists.

Ways to use an AI document podcast

01

Review material away from the screen

Turn lecture notes, readings, or study guides into a discussion you can listen to while commuting or revising.

02

Hear a research briefing

Combine a small set of related papers or reports and ask the speakers to compare their main ideas and evidence.

03

Repackage internal training

Convert onboarding documents, policies, or product notes into a more approachable audio review for a team.

04

Repurpose written content

Create a draft audio companion for articles, reports, or documentation before refining it for a wider audience.

What you receive

Audio, transcript, and workspace history

The result stays useful after generation: listen, follow the dialogue, revisit it later, or create a public link.

01

Two-speaker WAV audio

A synthesized conversation between two AI speakers, shaped by the source material and optional instructions.

02

Interactive transcript

Read the speaker-by-speaker dialogue and select transcript segments to seek through the recording.

03

Saved and shareable history

Reopen completed podcasts in the active workspace, delete them, or create a public listening link.

Access and usage

A premium, experimental workspace tool

You need to sign in to an upgraded workspace. Each successful generation uses 30,000 workspace credits, billed to the active workspace rather than an individual user account.

Generation usually takes from about 30 seconds to several minutes. Source length and structure affect the final duration, so a short or thin document may produce a shorter conversation.

Better source, better briefing

How to get a clearer podcast

  • Use one to three sources that address a closely related topic instead of mixing unrelated material.
  • Prefer selectable, well-structured text. Scanned PDFs or poorly labelled CSV columns may produce weaker results.
  • State the intended listener, focus, and takeaway in custom instructions when you need a particular angle.
  • Check facts, names, quotations, numbers, and pronunciations against the original documents before sharing.

How to Use

  1. 1

    Add your source documents

Upload one to three PDF, TXT, CSV, or Markdown files. Each file can be up to 20 MB. Use focused, readable sources for a more coherent conversation.

  2. 2

    Guide and generate

Optionally tell the AI what to focus on, then select Generate. Processing can take from about 30 seconds to several minutes depending on the sources.

  3. 3

    Listen and review

Play the WAV podcast, follow or seek through its transcript, and reopen, share, or delete the result from your podcast history.
